Somebody help a country boy out. What does it mean when a player makes a play and waves his hand back and forth in front of his face?

It can mean a few things:

1) "I was one of 5 people that were in on that tackle, which makes me the man."

2) "I tackled a guy 10 yards down field, check me out!"

3) "I did what I was supposed to do, which also makes me the man."
