Week 7 In-Game anyone?

PUR is a fraud....they were a product of playing absolutely nobody in their first 6 games. They NEVER play anyone decent to start the season. If they do play a Pac10 team it's somebody like Arizona. When was the last time PUR played a marquee out of conference game to start the season....never.....they rack up their 7 wins (4 against MAC schools) and head to the Sun bowl or alamo bowl every year........

Notre Dame last year was a pretty tough OOC game.

All i know is that offense was supposed to be amazing for Purdue and it has put up basically 7 points in 2 weeks vs. Michigan and OSU. Plus 2 garbage scores late in the 2 games. . . . .

when were they good? Same type of team, imo... beat a bunch of bad teams, and beat no good teams... slip into BCS on a technicality and get thumped soundly by a real team.

Sorry to chime in late on this but had to vent on my Illini. Zook's label of not being able to coach here comes to fruition once again. Instead of declining that penalty in the 3Q to force 4th down, he accepts and obv TD next play for Iowa. He was also bailed out on that holding call as we were able to force a TO. Also, why he waited 55 minutes before putting in Magee was beyond me. Even if you planned on going back to Juice regardless of what happened, give Eddie a series in the 2nd or 3rd, not when the game was on the line. I blame nothing of what happened on the players as the D played pretty decently but was hurt by the fact they were on the field most of the game.
Gotta give the Hawkeyes credit here as they deserved to win this one as IL simply played like garbage the whole game and somehow barely lost. Props to their D who shut down our option game, though shutting down Juice in the passing game was nothing to write home about as everyone does that. Hopefully IL comes out raring to go for Muck Fichigan next week, although if Hart is out for that game, that would really help our chances.
One last thing I wanted to comment about was the Iowa kids storming the field. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Yeah, like barely beating the #18 team in the country, someone you haven't lost to in 8 years really calls for coming out onto the field. I know they are excited but I still think it's kind of classless. It's not like we were OSU or something. For us at IL, this is strictly prohibited for basketball and football. If you do this, you will be arrested as I knew the two guys that did this last week after the Wisky game.
Again, just had to vent and share my thoughts on the game. Glad I didn't put $ on my Illini today.
