Thursday Nighter:
SoMISS +10 1/2
Saturday Games:
SDSU +14................like this spot to play against Cincy. They have a huge game on deck and travel across the country to play an SDSU team with one of the best QB's no one has heard of in O'Connell. CIN is +16 in TO margin this year and that is wayyyy out of whack for a team having played 4 games. Bounces will even themselves out at some point. Just think it is a nice spread to go against CIN.
RUT -15 -120.....................week off and i don't think all that much of MAR. I came up with a number of 19, so i see some value in RUT here. MAR doesn't stop the run very well and i think RUT will control the clock and pound the ball down MAR throat. Also, MAR may have a hangover from the way they lost to Wake last Saturday.
ORE -5.............7Unit POW................CAL has a lot of injuries and this ORE team can flat out put up the points. ORE is one of the toughest places to play in country. The number was similar last year when these 2 teams met at CAL and CAL opened a can on ORE. I look for ORE to exact some revenge this week and do the same to CAL. Anything less than a TD is a must play, IMO. Number is rising, though. Up to 5 1/2 in some places from 4 where it opened.
UVA -7.............just a mismatch, IMO. UVA is coming on and getting better.
FAU +23 -120........................big game on deck for UKY with South Carolina on Thursday night. UKY has come off 2 HUGE wins the past 2 weeks and i think this is the classic college football letdown spot, not to mention a sandwich spot in the schedule. I can't see UKY being all that inspired to play FAU this week. Great spot to take the points. And you see it every year in these games, kids are kids and as much as you would like to say UKY will smoke them, emotion is a big part of the game, and i say they are flat.
going to play UNR -3 tomorrow night when i can get a free 1/2 point at sportsbook.com. that line isn't going anywhere between now and then. probably will have a few more, but these were moving against me.
GL to everyone!
