    NCAA Thursday Discussion/Plays

Taking looks at the lines for Thursday and this is what looks good at first sight....

    Clemson -1.5
    Georgetown -5
    Kentucky -4
    Syracuse +1
    Ohio -1
    Rhode Island PK
    Utah St. +2.5
    Oklahoma St -3
    Tennesse -2

I would say my strongest leans right now would be to Ohio and Georgetown. Any opinons, leans, on games listed, and unlisted are welcome....lets continue the success that alot of the board enjoyed today!! Discuss....

Adding My First Play for the Day:

      3 Units

      Georgetown -2 -170

Nova seemed to struggle yesterday with DePaul, and if DePaul doesnt start fouling with a minute +, who knows what happens. Mike Nardi seemed hurt, and I think he played sparingly. Georgetown, led by All Big East players Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert, seem poised to make a run. If Nardi is limited, Nova's offense has only two real threats, Sumpter and Reynolds...Georgetown ranked No. 1 in the conference and fifth nationally in scoring defense at 56.5 points per game

I like the Hoyas as well, but this will be a very close, low scoring game. These two teams know each other very very well. It will probably be GTown's toughest game in the tourny.

At first glance clemson and rhode island lines stuck out too...gonna look deeper though...

I would stay away from Okie State..Boggan has mentally and almost physically quit the team...He has stated he is "done" playing hard for this team and only put in 5 minutes monday before Sutton jerked him out.....Obi Manuelo is back, but I think there is some strife on the team....Then again they may kick Nebraska by 20.....

Who has Georgetown at -2? I am seeing 4.5 to 5. I would love a 2 point line in that game.

              ****Edit... Sorry, I didn't see the -170

                couple things

i am playing gtwon and pitt

i do not think these teams will be able to turn around and play as well as they did last night against a team seeded higher than them. nova and marquette both had battles last night , neither won very easily, and Dominic James (wow is he struggling). And Nova only got contributions from two players. not gonna be easy against a gtown team that is very balanced.

also gotta play my aztecs and brandon heath (best player in the MWC IMO)
