Lots of fun today, just wish I wasn't stuck here at work. Anyway...a few early selections:
1) Nova - 4.5 1 unit- Looks like all things being = that Nova is the better team, hotter team and plays better against better teams. DePaul is 2-9 ATS when playing teams with a winning record after 15 games. Nova 5-1 on Wed games, an odd stat no doubt, but looks like they like to play on Wed.
2) Dayton -1.5-1 unit -going with the board on this one.
3) Cuse - 3.5- 1 unit-Going with the hot hand here, with Cuse being 5-0 ats in its last 5 and the huskies being 1-4 ats in those same last 5. UConn is also 0-8 as an underdog ats this year and 3-10 when playing a team w/ a winning record after 15 games, and 0-3 after 3 or more consecutive loses Uconn also shoots very poorley, both from the field and the line (57.8%) when on the road, while this is not a true road/home game for either team, it is "on the road". Bottom line, Cuse has more to play for than Uconn. However, this is a classic rivalery and really could go either way, big east at its best!
4) Southern Miss- - 4 - 1 unit- Southern Miss is 15-4 ats this year, and 9-1 as a fav and coming off a win against conf rival. SMU is coming off of 4 straight loses and are 3-13 in confernece games straight up this year, I think the number is small enough for Southern Miss to cover.
I'll be back later with more picks
