Good question about Pitt. The only thing I could find in their favor is that they are 7-4 against Georgetown at the Verizon Center. They split last year, and the Hoyas ousted Pitt from the conference tourney, IIRC.

Of course, if it was all about the numbers we would never lose. :sm:

Just feel that Pitt is good in transition and in the half court. G-town has a penchant for slowing teams down and they have won because of their defense. Can they keep Pitt off the offensive glass? The Panthers average 13 offensive boards per game which translates into points while the Hoyas offensive rebounds are at 8.8. Besides the revenge factor and Pitt's record at the VZ Ctr. I think they can ill afford going 0-3 at the start of conference season and Jamie Dixon has the boys up for this one. A low scoring affair favors G-town but Pitt's D is just as good if not better. Georgetown is also 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing Pitts, 2-5 SU in its last 7 games when playing Pitt and 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games when playing at home against Pitt.
