Anybody else ready for HOOPS? :)

I'm so ready for some college hoops.

It's really weird how the at the end of a sports season I've had my fill and am ok to see it go and then so excited by the next time it starts up. The timing is perfect!

Ok, I liked, I do get sad to see NFL go. I could watch NFL every Sunday ever week of the year!

Cannot wait, was just looking at some of the first week schedules, and as a Xavier fan there is a lot of hype built around this season, which doesn't help with the patience.

Last year was my first year on college basketball, and my ending total showed it, hoping for a much better season this year.

I'm with you, CBXU. I absolutely can't wait to see if this X team can live up to its lofty expectations.

Still looking for a futures bet on "Will Dezmine Wells rip the backboard off its foundation this year?" Dude is an absolute beast!! Did you see his dunk at Musketeer Madness? Off the side of the backboard, through the legs and windmill? Crazy for a frosh.

Its nice when the adjustment Mack has to make is going from a very thin team last year to trying to figure how to get minutes for everyone. Holloway, Lyons, Martin, Wells, Redford, Walker, Robinson, Taylor, Frease, Dee Davis...they are DEEP!!

Going to be a really fun year for Xavier and college hoops in general. :beerbang:

Agreed on all fronts. Dez is an absolute monster, I got to watch him a few times during Deveroes this summer as well and I will say if he wants to get to the rim, he WILL get to the rim, if he adds a jumper at all it is going to be tough to keep him around for more than 2 years. I think outside of Dez, Travis Taylor is going to surprise a lot of people this year. Mack definitely has his hands full with putting together a rotation with so many options, something I'm sure he is not complaining about after last years 6.5 man rotation.

Can't wait to get some revenge against Bellermine tomorrow night. :beerbang:
