    Kid's Ball 2024/25

    Kid's ball is back.
    And the battle begins.

I can't do my usual methods for handicapping that I use on other sports, there's too many games in college basketball.
It would take me three or four hours a day.

I'm going to start off with two systems for sides and two for totals. And because the stupidly named asterisk play is working so well in every other sport, I'll track it here too.
But I have no idea what to use as a cutoff for plays so I'll make adjustments as I go.

Four plays qualify for * today.
I'm posting them for record-keeping and tracking purposes only. (If anyone wonders why I do this it's because if I just came in one day and said, "Hey, I have a play on Unders that's 32-4" or something similar people who don't know me would think I was full of ****. So I share record keeping for some plays on the internet for clarity and accountability.)

In WNBA and NBA I use a point differential of 5 for a game to qualify.
    In football I use 7.
I'll start collage at 5 but if it gives me too many plays I'll up it to 7 or 10.
From the games below, Temple qualifies at 8, Col 10, and the other two at 5.

For info purposes only, not recommended bets, need to get some data accumulated before I start putting my money out.

    Temple -13
    Col -17
    'Bama -26
    USC -15

Good luck to you all this college basketball season.

The first day of college b-ball is in the log book.
    How does it look?
Looks like I missed out on banking a few units, including the stupid asterisk play which has been performing well - I should have had a little faith in it.
The * Fade teams went 1-3, meaning I missed out on a 3-1 day.

I went with three handicapping methods for totals instead of two.
On the chart below you can see they combined for 11-3 on Overs and 0-4 on Unders. It's only one day but if some of those trends continue I can bank some units early in the season. Not happy about the Unders though, I usually rely on those to win not Fade.

WF2 came in at 2-9 a solid fade on Road teams.

Can't fault myself for being conservative, it's only the first day the system, I didn't have any data tracked yet.

Still not a lot of data but I'm jumping in today with a play.

Small card, not a lot of games but two of my three systems (on the chart in the picture below you'll see T1 in orange ink, 6-0 on Overs yesterday) and T2 (sky blue ink) say the North Texas game goes Over.

I didn't have any matches yesterday (where both picked the same game) but the 6-0 on T1 is enough to make me put a unit on this game.

    When to Buy Recommendation
This game opened at 135 and is down to 132.5 at half the houses across my screen. As long as it's dropping might as well wait a bit. I'll post my number later for this 5:00 p.m. PST game.

    Today's play:
    Evan/N Tex Ov (wait)
    Update: got 132.

          Recap: 1-0
          Record: 1-0
Review: Banked a unit with my first play of the season, Evansville Ov 132, cleared it by double digits as it landed 144.

Opening it up today with eight plays.
          Yes, eight.
          Why?

Five Overs (O/U record in orange, 8-1) and three Fades from WF2 (sky blue ink, 4-11) including one * play Fading Niagra.
