Brutal roadie for the Flashes, I remember in '08 they brought the upset @ St. Mary's with a great win. Different set of players and the Gaels are going to be playing hard to try to make a statement that they were overlooked. Saint Mary's was ranked as high No. 22 in the nation this season after winning a share of the West Coast Conference Regular season title. The Gaels were the No. 1 seed in the WCC Tournament before falling in the championship game to Gonzaga. Led by the WCC Most Valuable Player, 6'0" guard Mickey McConnell's 16.7 points per game, Saint Mary's has four players averaging over 10 points a contest and ranks 14th in the nation with 79.2 points per game on the season. The Gaels are also 6th in the nation in field goal percentage shooting 48.7 percent. Kent needs their key guys (Rod, Greene and Porrini) to really step up. I think the line is just about right. I like a defensive battle.
