Northern Illinois +2.5 for 1 unit. MAC doggie. WIN

Northwestern +6 for 2 units. Other books has this at 5.5 to 4.5 - nice grab. LOSS

Regarding the two trend ATS plays - do you play them blindly until its no longer a trend, or do you factor in other aspects not listed with your writeup? Just curious as I tend to take a contrarian view to trends with the assumption they can't last forever. Then again, I would've said that when St. Johns was 5-1 ATS, 6-1 ATS and the same goes for Delaware sitting at 12-2 right now. Just looking for some insight.

Polar, I like to look at trends until they even out. Lot of it is blind betting, especially in sports I'm not too keen with. Up until tournament time, it's definitely NCAABB and NBA. Last year I was +50 units in NBA but am only around +10 this year... so I'm picking and choosing. I keep track of my Faves, Dogs, Totals, and right now getting crushed in dogs in this sport... always looking for insights, angles, etc, but don't have much time with work for actual capping... always looking for input??

Thursday:

Miami Ohio +1 ..... one unit. MOH 14-1 SU, 7-1 at CMU. CMU 0-6 ATS at home this year.

Vanderbilt -6 ..... one unit. MSU 3-11 ATS this year, 1-6 as a dog, 1-7 against a winning record. Sidney also questionable for MSU with the flu.

Thanks for clarifying AK. All I can say is that if works, keep doing it till it doesn't. I'm in the same boat you are as far as not being too keen on NBA and NCAA as well as not having much time to put into capping. I'm just trying to be ultra-selective until I can find something that works for me, which I believe has made a huge difference this year versus previous ones where I just wanted some action for the night.

Polar, thanks a lot - I appreciate it. I am a huge fan of football, and consider it my most-knowledgable sport, but I don't always do the best capping there. Oh well. Again, for me it's more like a hobby rather than a money-maker.

Minnesota +9 ... 1 unit. No trends, just a feeling here. Purdue has dominated Minnesota lately, and a few trends going Purdue's way. LOSS

Couple of weird lines there - New Mexico/BYU - only three points off their big win vs SDSU. Should be higher. Marymount has been in a slump and Santa Clara in a streak - yet Loyola is favored...
