Heading to Akron to do color for the Zips/Akransas Pine Bluff game for the UAPB radio station.....great opportunity. Tune in to hear Bill Morgan and myself (you'll have to google it), it oughta be fun not knowing the Golden Lions players but knowing the Akron team pretty well! Also, I used to live in Pine Bluff in the mid-80s so that'll bring back some memories.

I lived there for 2.5 years and worked for the Pine Bluff Commercial on my first job out of college. The city was named worst city to live in and most dangerous.......and I saw on Wikipedia that it was named both "worsts" again in 2009!

No, but I remember Andrew Lang from Dollarway, Fitzgerald Simmons from Pine Bluff, and Danny Bradley who went on to QB Oklahoma and have Marcus Dupree in the same backfield with him! And one of my good friends was Donzelle Young, PBHS football coach! :thumbs:
