    USF vs. Auburn: Under 119

USF plays at one of slowest paces in nation and they should be able to control the pace of this one. Id like to fade Aub in their first true roady but im not laying 12 with usf. USF was supposed to be rock solid in the frontocurt this year with Gilchrest and Famous but theyve both had down years so far, and both missed their last game. Should be a slow paced ugly game. This wont be easy on the eyes.

GL Beholdah.....was at the Kent/USF game on Sunday and the Bulls really tried to run on Kent in the second half, but their game was basically half court with the shot clock under 10 most of the time before they shot.

thanks for the info about them trying to run. Im hoping that since they should be playing with a lead most of the game that they will not feel obliged to try running.

"We're defending very, very well. We're doing a lot of good things out there on the defensive end," Bulls coach Stan Heath said. "Unfortunately, the name of the game is 'Put the Ball in the Basket,' and we're coming up short there.

"We've got to shoot the ball better from the outside, we've got to finish around the basket and we've got to draw more fouls. I don't think we're getting to the free throw line as much as we need to get there."

Turnovers (16.7 per game) also have been a problem, and Heath wants to see his team play better late in possessions and avoid going deep into the shot clock as often because of passing up open shots.
"I think at times when we do get high-quality shots … sometimes we just pass up an opportunity and we don't get anything better as time goes on," Heath said, "so we're better off taking the best thing available for us."

from this articles : Despite losses, Bulls have reason to be optimistic

Theyre desperate for offense and are apparantly changing their offensice philosophy, gonna look more into this and consider buying off with a middle opportunity. Its down to 116.5 now. I dont think theyre magically going to execute better on offense but it sounds like there will be more possessions than a typical usf game. All that said, if they play with a decent lead most of the game they will have no reason to keep up a faster pace. got some mulling over to do here.

ended up at the knick game tonight last minute. amazing game

Glad i let the under ride out but i wont be playing too many more unders at low numbers like that. probably gonna sit thursday out. Tempted to fade Ark Lil Rock on the road but not at that price.

Im hoping Tennessee is laying less than 20 @ charlotte on friday. Should be a Bounceback Shallackin. Charlotte's only 7 deep and will get worn down. Should get a strong effort out of the vols coming off the loss.
