First plays of the year for me in the '10-'11 campaign. Try to focus on CFB at the end but noticed something that sticks out for me in CBB. How 'bout them CSU Vikes!! 8-0!! The caliber of teams certainly are in question though. Tonight they get conference foe Wisc-G-Bay, always a tough play when @ home. Big key for the Phoenix, defense. Where is it?? Giving up 73 PAG and the opponents hitting 50% from the field. Teams like N. Dakota, Ind.P-U!! They best have their game on when Norris Cole & company hit the floor. Home team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Going against the grain here and with the public.
Vikes -4(-120).............1 unit.
My boys @ Kent have a nice record so far, the ATS is another thing. Just one nice cover and that was against Bryant. Usually in the early going I always take the big number. Kent sure as hell will make some noise this year. Take note here: F Justin Greene has the flu but should play. He led the team last year with 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Greene totaled 18 points and continued to be the Golden Flashes primary scoring threat inside posting his sixth game of the year with at least 17 points. The junior forward overcame a 3-10 night from the field by hitting 12-14 from the foul line and total nine points in the final five minutes as Kent State finally pulled away in a tightly contested game against Lehigh. He also added 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Greene is listed as probable as of 9:00 am this morning.
They should beat this Warhawk team, but with the large number and Greene may possibly be slowed down from the flu I'll take the points.
