Pitt / Duquesne "THE CITY GAME"

Just a heads up here

This game is off campus for both teams. It is being held at new arena where the PENGUINS play.

Duquesne does not match up at all vs Pitt.

Duquesne is small and the guys who do have length ( clark and saunders ) are lanky.

Could be a big time blowout .

I think Pitt rolls tonight. This is a deep basketball team with lots of options on the low post. They have some pretty talented bigs. Pitt is a big team and very athletic and deep.

This is really not a good matchup for Duquesne. THey will probably play Pitt tough early but i can see Pitt wearing them down with their size and depth.

Size and Depth . Pitt's strenght. Even Pitt's guards are decent sized. Gibbs is 6'2" . Brad Wannamaker is 6'4"..

They have Gilbert Brown and Nasir Robinson who each go 6'5"... And Dantae Taylor, Talib Zanna, Gary Mcgee who are 6'9" ...

Duquesne i feel has to hit alot of threes to stay in this game.

If that doesn't happen , it could be a long night . .

I haven't had the sticks out for over a month, maybe 1.5 months......it's BB time now and cold as hell with the snow here. Saw that when I got out of the shower this AM and felt even colder. We'll do a Kent game with Shorts and maybe the UAHammer who is new......
