Good to see we're on the same side of three of those. It's a good day for basketball! GL Coach.

Anybody liking Wisky today......man I think they get the steam rolla out on the Illini, but Illy are still a bubble mention and need a great game today!

I liked Wisconsin at first glance, but away from home they seem like a pretty pedestrian team and their playing a capable Illinois team who have a lot to play for.. but I think Wisky is certainly the better team.. so I dunno.. probably a no play for me. :dunno:

Illinois really will be playing hard, a win here and that bubble should be intact. The badgers are good as in and seeing a lot of top teams go down in tournaments it wouldn't surprise me to see them go down. If I had a play it would be on Illinois and 9 (hook). I'm staying away from this game because I couldn't back them the way they are playing. The last 3 games (Badgers being one of those) they look like ****. Even the 2 point loss to the Gophers they were down by 12 shooting below 30% and total for the game they shot 31%. The badgers weren't much better aginst the Gophers shooting 30% for the game in their loss of 68-52. The public is siding with the Illini, GL in your choice. I can't decide.

I know, great help Nick. Thanks a lot:beer2:

3 keys for Illinois today IMO:
              * Rebounding on both ends of the floor (offensive – if they shoot in the 30something% range again, there are going to be a lot of opportunities for 2nd chance points and defensive – don’t have the stats in front of me but believe Wisky had 17 offensive rebounds last Sunday)
              * Take care of the basketball – Wisky is very good at not turning over the basketball so Illini will have to match that. The empty possessions (esp when you aren’t shooting well absolutely kill a team).
              * Balanced scoring – when Illinois was in a nice little stretch, a lot of it had to do w/DMac as he had several double-doubles. In turn, I think the rest of the guys developed a complacent mindset that they could sit back, let DMac do his thing, and everything would be fine. Well, in double turn, DMac cooled off considerably (probably a result of the pressure and realization he was going to have to get 30 and 15 per game in order to get a win that night).

I don’t want to bet on this one but gun to my head, I’d say Illinois plus the 8 and the over.
              Moose

I think I'm gonna pick every game, forget about being caught up in trying to pick upsets, and see if I can lose every damned one of them! :puke::bang::lost:
