    Thursday Games 3/11

    Any thoughts on tommorows games?

Georgia Tech-3.5 seems too easy, I feel like Roy Williams will have UNC ready to play. Any thoughts?

I also feel like BC is good to fade in almost any spot, although I havent seen much of Virginia this season.

Bama-1.5 to me screams bet South Carolina. Initial lean towards Bama.

Last time I was thinking of fading Washington laying big points, they crushed UCLA. Something tells me they cover -9 against Oregon St.

JoePa, I remember reading you were high on Ohio early in the season, how do you feel about +4.5 against the Golden Flash?

Trying to generate discussion for tommorows big games, and thoughts???

very quickly, without much looking into it, i say boston college covers 5.5, bet against georgia tech no matter the spread, take south carolina, take the points with the beavers, pretty sure they come to play, and i think kent state covers 4.5 against ohio.

    *Disclaimer*
It's 2:33am and I really haven't looked at any of these games until tomorrow in depth....that's just a gut feeling based on what I've seen so far this year.

Michigan -8 looks good, iowa is nothing scary even for a mid major...

UNC to me looks like a reverse trap... i will fade the public if i play this game.. i instantly thought UNC would win this game... i have a feeling that others may be sharing the same feeling and the books are f'n with me... +4? that looks gravy to me... i think the line wants carolina money...

i like baylor and pittsburgh no line for me on those 2 games but i mostlikely will tail them both...

i cant wait to watch georgetown syracuse... upset maybe? i hope so ill be rooting for it...

florida -5.5 looks too easy in first round vs auburn... i might stay away but i like it....

Pac -10 well ur better off throwing darts at team pictures on a wall than trying to cap this crapfest... any team can win and any can lose... i wouldnt be suprised to see 2 underdogs win su tomorrow... to me most likely (oregon st and standford)

Big east Unders wow how about tailing that went 4-0 on wednesday:beerbang:

A couple that jump out at me early

Miami - This game is getting bet like they know the score. WF hasn't been good the last few weeks and Miami has ability. Miami's statistical ratings are also better than WF in some cases.

GT - Syracuse hasn't been quite as sharp and each GT/SU game has had GT play like garbage for more than 1 half. I think the comeback the last game will give them some confidence in attacking the zone and SU is already the Big East champs and a #1 seed. I don't know that you get a #1 effort today for a team with nothing to gain except wearing down their players over the next 3 days.

BC/UVA - Considering UVA as they were solid last game against Maryland without the guy they just suspended. Probably be a game I'll lay off.

Bama - They are showing signs of being able to close out games and have more weapons and consistency than USC.

UNC/GT - I am leaning to a low scoring game here but I will likely stay away here as well.

Auburn - Another example of the line being slanted in favor of a "bubble" team with some perceived motivation. Now if the Tigers can just knock down some of their shots it will be difficult for Florida to keep pace.

One thing that I think gets overlooked is the motivation of teams that are playing the "bubble" or NCAA teams. A good example is a team like Nebraska yesterday where they rolled over Missouri as Nebraska came out very motivated and disciplined and they seem to be serious about trying to win the tourney. It is a pipe dream for a lot of teams but it may get them 1 or 2 victories which is still a success and something to build on for a team like Nebraska or Auburn or Miami. I'm also looking at quite a few unders today and am thankful that Deonta Vaughn didn't follow his coaches instructions in the huddle last night.

Paul Hewitt is coaching for his job tonight. If he doesn't make the NCAA tourney all signs are indicating he'll be fired. Not sure whether the "fade Paul Hewitt" tactic should be employed or not, as I don't have a lot of experience betting in these unique situations.

Also I like BC -5.5. I think UVA line is a little short since they kept it real close with Maryland, but remember Maryland was just coming off a huge win against Duke two days earlier, so they were due for a bit of a let down. Other than that, UVA has been getting rolled. Also UVA without their STAR player Sylven Landesburg due to academics!!
