    Monday Discussion

at this point unless somebody makes a tremendous point in this thread i am personally passing. Too many unpredictable teams and nothing to make a ML parlay with.

One line i find just something just short of bizarre is the fact that TEX is a 1 1/2 point favorite at OKST. Either the oddsmaker hasn't been watching TEX since January 1 or something is up here. How is TEX laying points on the road to anyone right now seeing they barely scraped by at Iowa State, lost at Kansas State, lost at UCONN and barely scraped by at home no less to Taco Tech and then lost to Baylor. Is this the "they're due" factor? Don't get this line at all.

UCONN +5 1/2 @ LOU.....who knows which UCONN team will show up and i can't figure out LOU at all honestly. Here is the jekyl/hyde game of the night.

Other than that there are a bunch of ****ty MAC games with DD spreads and ta couple of unbettable and unwatchable SWAC games. The MAC has been very unpredictable this year, especially from a spread standpoint IMO. And man is that conference just AWFUL excpet for a couple of teams.

By the way, those SWAC'ers are on ESPNU and if you want a good laugh, check out the crowds they get for these games. I mean if it was buy one get one free ticket night, the guy who bought the ticket would have to bring himself as the 2nd person....:hide:....tonight's attendance.......1.......

im out for Monday. I don't wager to wager and there is nothing on that card that is attractive IMO.

Tuesday i hear you. I think Wisky beats MSU. MSU has been slip sliding by and one of these days it is coming to an end. Wisky a tough place to play. I think that line is going to be around PK to -2 in that area. I have had that one circled since MSU got out of Minnesota with that miracle come back. I probably won't look at anything until tomorrow evening.

        Im out.

First post here, Ive been reading your guys' picks and analysis and decided to finally put in my 2 cents

Iona -10 v Canisius looks interesting today.

Iona is 16-6, with 3 losses coming to Baylor, UConn and Providence
Canisius is 11-11 and has not played anyone close to the big 3 above

Iona has won their last 5 home games by 10 or more (13,17,13,10,19) , are on a 7 game overall winning streak, and their last loss was on the road to the same Canisius team.

Iona could be pumped and looking for revenge, and Canisuis just came off an exciting home OT victory over one of their rivals Niagra, and could be due for a let down game.

There is my 2 cents, and as usual, Canisius will probably win by 20...

FlyersFan, why not pull the trigger on Oklahoma St? Cowboys are 12-0 at home and Texas is over rated like you said, yet public has their balls all over Texas's chin.

I'll probably put a unit on the Cowboys.

^ Thanks for pointing out that Iona game Tamin, I'm gonna take a closer look at that.

I looked at that Iona/Canisius game and I actually like Canisius. From just comparing past scores and not really knowing **** about either team it appears Canisius is fairly competitive in their games, and are 6-5 in the MAAC. They've put up similar numbers to each opponent Iona has played. However, I've only seen Canisius play once this year and haven't seen a single Iona game, so like I said, I don't really know **** about either team.

I'm guessing the Wisky line will be closer to -5 tomorrow

Good call I'm staying out too.. I would lay on OK but Texas is 0-8 ATS the past 9 games I have a feeling they are due for one, I agree line should be closer to OK being the fave here but staying away altogether.

Texas' back is against the wall and I think they come out ready to play tonight. OSU had a hell of a time getting boards against MIZZ this weekend. I wonder what Pittman and crew can do on the inside?
