Is that why the line is dropping? Im so confussed with this game. Something tells me even without James Marquette could pull this one out, but with him, his pressense alone should really spark this team.

Interesting game, hope we get to see it. Should be a blast with all the open court play. James playing seems kind of desperate to me. Who knows? How effective can he possibly be?

I think its more of a motivational attempt then anything, but really how much can he play and him playing is that more of an asset or a liability coming off such an injury.

Agreed JML, just because a key player comes back doesn't mean he'll be on fire from the get go or be in flow with the team. Look at Patty Mills.

I concur as well. My initial thought was that Marquette could be in the driver's seat now. However, after I thought about it, this could actually favor Mizzou. Will he be rusty with his shooting and out of sync on offense? Will he be as effective on defense? I highly doubt he will throw himself back out there at 100% and just play the game of his life.
On a personal level, you hate to see a guy who has worked his butt off for four years faced spending what could be the last game of his career on the bench because of an injury (a la Chester Frazier). Should be a great game either way though.

Didn't he hurt or break that thing in mid- February? Hell of a quick comeback for hoops. Interesting to see how he runs, stops, pops and all those things. Still like'em on the ML.:beerbang:
