    Wisconsin Green Bay +2.5 2nd H
    Wisconsin Green Bay +145 2nd H
    Wisconsin Green Bay +1.5 1st 10mins 2nd H -115

LSU is shooting 50% in the 1st H mainly due to Allison Hightower who has 20 of their 35 points on 6-10 shooting. As is usual with LSU, they are lacking a second scorer. This team is built on their defense which is key as they always go through some sort of scoring drought during a game.

Wisconsin Green Bay can still win this game as they are the better shooting team across the board especially from behing the arc as practically the whole team has that range. I think they will take advantage of LSU's lack of scoring & make their way back into this game. If they don't win outright which I think they can, they should be pretty set to cover the game especially at this ridiculous 2nd H # which makes it +12.5 for the game.

    Oklahoma -14 2nd H
    Oklahoma -7.5 1st 10mins 2nd H -120

They are clearly playig down to their competition which is what I was afraid of. Sometimes t hey have a tendency to do this more than any other team in the country. They are not taking advantahe of their superior talent from 1-5. Prairie View did have a good non conference schedule but that is not reason for them to be competitive against Oklahoma here. The complete superiority should show itself in the 2nd H where they should cover the 2nd H # easily & cover the game # as well.

I usually do not like these situations as this # makes the game # -24 when it was -31 before tip. However this game is a complete mismatch & I can't ignore that in this case.

      Tennessee -15.5
      Tennessee -8.5 1st H
      Tennessee -4.5 1st 10mins 1st H

      Georgia Tech +6.5 -104 (******* comical!)
      Georgia Tech +270
      Georgia Tech +3.5 1st H -115
      Georgia Tech +2 1st 10mins 1st H

      Baylor -23 -105
      o125.5 Texas San Antonio-Baylor
      Baylor -13 1st H
      Baylor -7 1st 10mins 1st H

The Georgia Tech line is ******* comical. The ONLY reason Iowa is laying points is because of the location. Georgia Tech even playing in Iowa should be laying a minimum of 5 here. They come from the better conference, played a superior schedule (don't care what the RPI says) & have better quality wins.

This is the same team that beat North Carolina, played competitively against top conference foes in Duke, & Maryland, along with playing very well against Texas. They also whipped up on one of the Big 10 powers in Michigan State, a team Iowa could not handle. They are also one of the few teams who played Connecticut tough all year & at Stoors no less.

They have superior talent from 1-5 & will beat Iowa by double digits. If they do not win this game outright, I would be shocked. I'm so close to just adding even more on this one as it is close to a GOTY type for me.

The other games are just mismatches through & through. If the games are competitive, it will be up to HT at most. If the game is remotely close at HT, you can probably jump on at a reasonable # in the 2nd H & cover that & the game as well.

        Georgia Tech +5 2nd H

        Georgia Tech +2.5 1st 10mins 2nd H +100

        Georgia Tech +240 2nd H

Sucker line here imo as 6.5 point favorite just has to win by 1 to cover. Plus I still think Georgia Tech extends this lead & wins by double digits. My only concern is the hometown foul advantage for Iowa as they have a +5 advantage in terms of PF's.

            ---------

I have some stuff to get to but I will quickly touch on a couple of the games.

I think the world of Purdue as they are one of the handful of teams I feel would have a great chance of beating UConn. However this is a bad matchup for them as they do not have the talent from 1-5 to matchup with North Carolina & the type of game they want to play.

The Tar Heels have underachieved at times this year as they have not played to the best of their abilities. This was quite evident in their 1st round game in which they played around with UCF in what was in a reality a 10-12 game & not the 5 point final margin.

This performance has created exceptional line value here as a Tar Heel team performing the way they should have has this line at worst double what it is now. Purdue will give them a game but in the end I think the Tar Heels win by 10-15 points.

Florida State is a team in which I have favored in my ratings. I respect the job Charli Turner Thorne does with the Sun Devils year in & year out. When you play a C.T.T. coached team, you can expect a hard fought battle especially on the defensive side of the ball.

However there is one recipe to beating them & that is athleticism. Over the years, they have always had trouble with teams who were more athletic especially on the perimeter. Florida State has the athletes to give the Sun Devils trouble. However this is not the only concern for them.

While they still have arguably the best defender in the West Coast in G Brianna January & is second on the team in scoring, I still feel the loss of their leading scorer Dymond Simon will hurt them. Even with the two of them playing, Arizona State was not known for their offensive prowess.

They play a defensive oriented system & are good for 1-2 scoring droughts in a typical game. They are able to survive because their defense is usually top notch. However I don't think they can get away with that against a Seminoles squad featuring 3 double digit scorers (a 4th is just .3 away from averaging double digits) who are all ACC & helped lead them to a tie for the conference championship.

I just think Florida State is too much for Arizona State as they have better athletes, play just as good of defense, & are quite superior offensively. The pick your poison will be in full effect as the Seminoles pull away to a 8-12 point outright win.

Stanford: Complete mismatch here even playing at San Diego State. The precision of Stanford's offense along with their star Jane Appel will be too much for the Aztecs. Look for Appel to go off for 30pts & 10-15 boards tonight. They should be able to double up that #.

I am not a parlay person but I know some of you are If you want throw in Stanford on those goofy ML parlays as you are not losing. If you want to add value to it throw in Florida State as well.

Auburn should be laying almost double digits in this spot. I love Rutgers but they are a 2 woman team in Prince & Vaughn. They are another team like Arizona State who focuses more on defense than offense. If they had a legitimate scoring offense, they would have won multiple WNCAA titles by now as their defense when on is that good.

Auburn's will win this game by double digits as they will have too much offensive firepower for a very young Rutgers team to handle. The only chance Rutgers has if Prince & Vaughn both have monster games as 1 out of 2 won't get it done.

              Florida State +145 2nd H

              Auburn -3 2nd H
              Auburn -170 2nd H
              Auburn -2 1st 10mins 2nd H -105

Rutgers shot lights out in the 1st H. The usual ammo for them when this happens is to cool off badly. Past results will show you this regardless of who the players were.

Auburn is still in this game & I feel could still win outright if they get it together. At such a cheap number, I will jump on.

Florida State line is a sucker one in my opinion. I am not biting on the Sun Devils as I stand by my statements on their chances of winning.

                      RIP South Dakota State:

The Lady Jack Rabbits run in this tournament is over. You had a chance to blow Baylor out & put the nail in their coffin. You had them shooting 0% for part of the 1st H & a double digit lead without hitting your 3's.

Now the Lady Bears got their feet under them, have continued to shutdown your one trick pony 3 point scoring & are only down 1. This all happened even though they go into HT shooting 23%. Baylor will cover this game with relative ease in the 2nd H & win comfortably by 12+.
