Today I like Gonzaga. The public is destroying western kentucky at like 67%. This usually spells trouble for the dog as the public is typically on overs and favorites. I will be looking for Gonzaga to play a great game today. Their size could be the difference.

Maryland looks to good to be true so I am going the other way. I think the Cal State Northridge game was a wake up call for Memphis.

I also think UCONN dominates TAM and they play as well as they did on Thurs. If AM doesn't shoot lights out like they did against BYU, they have no shot.

The total in the PUR/WASH game seems high. I know Wash likes to run, but they played more of Miss St.'s style last game at a slower pace. I don't know if PUR will wanna run, but they didn't in their first game. They had been playing quicker prior to that. The 140 though makes me think over even though my original thoughts were under. I think the books are telling us bet over by setting it this high. I figured 130 would have been more reasonable. I'm still debating whether or not to bet this one.

I think this is the end of the road for Cusefan. Griffin has been unstoppable and I have them winning this entire tournament so I will back them here.

I like Xavier to possibly pull the upset too. I think there is a decent chance that happens. X has guys that have been here before and if this game stays low scoring I like their chance to win even more. I might play the moneyline later in the week.

After all of the chalk that has been hitting this tournament, I think we see the tides turn and the 3 and 4 seeds will makes some noise this round. Specifically KU and Villanova. The dukies escaped last week, but I think their run will be over too. Nova is on a mission and I love their defense. MSU to me is over seeded. I thought they should have lost their last game only to sneak out, but Aldrich and Collins can get it done. There isn't anyone that really scares me on MSU's team that could just go off like Collins can.

Maybe this is another chalk filled tourney, but I'm rolling with some dogs who I think have legit shots of advancing.Public is finally noticing all the favs covering too.

Worried about nova now. I'm glad I'm not risking juice on the nova play if it loses. All these percentages and people on nova, but the line slightly goes the other way has me confused, but I still like nova. The matchup has the makings for a buzzer beater finish.

I think memphis advances too. I wasn't crazy about the 4 or the 4.5 so I will take them to just win.

Purdue is getting no love at all here. I think their defense will be the difference. UCONN has steamrolled teams, but PUR is only gettin 6.5? I figured it to be more, but what do I know. I like them to keep it tight and even possibly pulling the upset.

Yea, not happy about that either. I don't look at percentages too much in college hoops, but it seems to me most people are on Villanova and they line went from 2 to 2.5 so that has tempered my enthusiasm. Still love the match-up though. If Balbay and Varez Ward can penetrate against Duke, I'll take my chances so can Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher.

well, nova moved on, but my add ons hurt me.

I have yet another bet I like tonight, but I won't be betting it. I think the under 151 in the ou/cusefan game is solid. Some really good matchups in this game for both sides, I just like the pace to be a bit slower in this game. I don't see either team getting into the 80's. Its a shame I won't get to watch it since I'll be at the sixers game.

I also wanted to say how tough it was to watch X lose last night. I had them winning this game in my bracket and they nearly did it. Talk about pitiful offense, X had some major brain farts in the second half on those easy lay ups and then what seemed like no plan on offense at times coming out of timeouts. Especially when they were down 2 with about 24 seconds to go. It seemed like they were just going to dribble around and see what happens. Tough one, I always root for X to go deep in these tournies too.
