    Field of 65

Is there a better job in America than Joe Lunardi - the "bracketologist" and occasional ESPN.com "contributor", lol... What a scam, good for him. Only in America.

    Here goes:
BIG EAST (7) - Cut and dry. Pitt, UConn, Nova, Marq, Syr, Louey, WVU
BIG TEN (7) - Bubble mania. MSU, Purdue, Illy, Mich, OSU, Wisky, Minny
BIG TWELVE (6) - Cut and dry. Okla, Kansas, Texas, Okie St, Mizz, A&M
ACC (7) - UMD, guuulp. UNC, Duke, Clem, Wake, FSU, BC, Maryland
PAC TEN (5) - Streak busted. Wash, ASU, UCLA, USC, Cal
ATLANTIC 10 (3) - Bid stealer. Temple, Xavier, Dayton
SEC (3) - Possible bid stealer. LSU, Tenn, So Car
MOUNTAIN WEST (3) - Utah, BYU, SDSU
HORIZON (2) - Cleveland State, Butler

      Thoughts

Arizona 2-9 on the road, and gets in. Yikes.

      MWC got the shaft.

I'm a proponent of expansion to 68 ,and play a play-in game in each conference so those little teams have a shot to win a game, and also more Mid Majors like St Marys and Creighton would be in.

IMO, Ohio State got screwed. An 8 seed?? Thought at least a 7 or 6. Tough match-up with Siena. Then the winner gets Louisville. Brutal.

Illinois is the worst 5 seed ever.. SD St got screwed
          Overall Records

Each play is to win the # of units posted unless it's a dog then I'm betting that amount.

The public will be all over Utah St. and the points against Marquette. Even though it's in Boise, I can't see them matching up well with them. To many white guys.

I don't know about the worst ever as that is a pretty strong statement but yeah definitely not the caliber of a 5 seed. I was hoping to get that 6 seed that ASU so my buddies and I could fly down to Miami for the weekend, watch the game, get hammered regardless of the result, and do a bit of mingling with the coeds enjoying spring break.

I don't understand why you and ESPN think St. Mary's should be in. This team blows. All ESPN keeps talking about is how good they were when Mills played, but that doesn't matter, all the games count lol. They played the ****tiest non conference teams and play in an awful conference that deserves nothing more than 1 team. Why ESPN keeps mentioning them is beyond me. You don't see them talking about OU who lost how ever many games without griffin. Sorry had to get that off my chest.

I think the Big 10 got a generous amount of teams in.

I think the only ones that deserve to be in are Mich State, Purdue, Illinois, and Ohio State.

                    Michigan-No
Wiscy-Definitley not-would have taken PSU over them.
                    Minnesota-a joke.

I am fading away on all of these frauds all tourney!

And Arizona? Are you kidding? I agree that St.Marys should have been left out but Zona over SD State or another Big East team.

I am going on record here and saying that only 2 big 10 teams will be left after the first weekend of the tourney is over...maybe only 1!

i agree on minnesota and can see the big 10 struggling, absolutely! I also thought SDSU should have gotten in, but I dont really mind seeing Zona in.

Wisconsin was better than Penn State. Wisconsin had a better RPI and A LOT better SOS and beat PSU twice.

                        PSU's non conference schedule (yuck)
William and Mary, NJIT, Hartford, New Hampshire, Penn, RI, Towson, GT, Temple, Army, Mount St Marys, Lafayette, Sacred Heart. I'd say Temple is the best out of those and they lost to them.

No question I was dead wrong about Auburn....on a side not I think Chatnooga is the best 16th seed in the history of the Tourney. All there record shows nothing, they put together a nice run in the Southern Tourney. I think they stay close to Uconn for the first half.

I do feel Miss. State has a decent shot at beating Wash. Lsu should get by Butler...and I think UT should beat OK State. And yes if Auburn was in the Tourney they would get by there first opponent the same with Fla or SC. Bottomline is The SEC was snubbed 3 teams. Those 3 teams are better than half the field. I know I am in the extreme minority of what I believe, but the NCAA is a joke to me. The wrong teams are always in. Its never the best 64 teams. I still bet on it and watch it religiously so in some ways I still love it. I am to say the least very disappointed Auburn did not get in.
