    NCSU @ Georgia Tech

    NC State ML +145

    *HOMER ALERT*

I've been watching this team play every game this season. IMO this team has turned a corner. Ever since coach Sidney Lowe switched to the big starting line up (with 3 bigs, Smith, Costner, McCauley) NC State has averaged over 80 pts/game where before they were averaging in the low 60's. I just can't see GT scoring in the 80's this game. NC State dominated #7 Wake Forest for 35 minutes of the game, up by as much as 20 points and held on for the win. I don't see NCSU looking ahead to UNC in this game, as they just cannot afford to.

Courtney Fells has stepped his game up dramatically averaging 20+ pts the last 4 or 5 games since he moved over to his natural shooting guard position. Farnold Degand finally being more aggressive at his PG spot and driving to the hoop. Brandon Costner playing with much more confidence and able to drain clutch shots. Tracey Smith has been ridiculous on the boards and low post. Against Wake he had 10, yes 10, offensive rebounds on his way to a double double. I think State wins straight up.

44-33 at the half. No comfort here yet, as NC State is #1 in the nation of ****ting the bed with any kind of a lead.
