    Harmonious NCAAB Thurs

Updated the record so it's good to go. Dam totals, I keep getting back to near even then losing two in a row. Good luck to everyone playing tonight. This week I've played so many road teams my head is spinning. Gonna catch up to me eventually, but hopefully not tonight. Just playing what I feel is the better team in most cases. All plays are dedicated to WilliWonka until he returns from his hiatus:

    Sides: 152-130-7 (+10.0 units)
    Totals: 6-9 (-3.9 units)

    1 UNIT
Louisville/Notre Dame OVER 145. ND stands for 'no defense'.
Saint Joseph's (Pk). Neutral site at the Palestra. Nivins and a deep rotation of guards is the difference.
Troy (Pk). Really only game where I'm playing the home court as Troy has been stellar at home this season.
Arkansas Little-Rock (Pk). Pick'ems galore! A-LR has been good enough on the road to play here as the better team.
UCLA (Pk). ASU is struggling right now. Should be a hideously ugly game. 50-47? lol...
Illinois (-1.5). ILL can defend, nether team can score. Should be a hideously ugly game. 50-47? lol...
Arizona(-2). They should just play 3 on 3 - Wise, Budinger, Hill vs DeRozan, Lewis, Gibson.
Gonzaga (-4.5). Not Patty Mills means NIT for the Gaels. Pargo should have a big game tonight.

GL Cuse who do you like in the Derby pool. I think Old Fashioned is by far the best horse, but I cant take 14-1 this far out. I like Taqarub at above 50-1.

Old Fashioned is impressive. I think Stardom Bound is by far the best horse, but looks like Frankel is not going to put her in the Derby. I've always liked Munnings as a long shot, and also think Hello Broadway has some ability. So touch since none of these horses seem to run on traditional dirt now prior to Churchhill or a prep race before it, except a handful.

College refs are OUT OF CONTROL with these offensive foul calls. It really needs to be addressed at some point. That call on Collison was god awful, and essentially lost UCLA the basketball game. It ruined what was a very entertaining, hard fought, well played game. Doesn't the head of NCAA officials notice to uptick in charges called each year? It's ridiculous. It's rare that the play is ever actually a charge, and yet they call charges almost automatically now if they guy is even close to set. Pendergraph wasn't set to begin with and then on top of that, he leaned under Collison. If the player jumps sideways when the defender is in front of him (which Pendergraph wasn't even), it simply cannot be a charge. It's not possible. Those ones, and when the defender runs underneath the guy after he takes off make me want to through the remote through my television.

Jesus christ, it drives me NUTS... :bang:
