    Final Four Preview Thread

Willi lean towards THE BUCKEYES and THE GATORS ..

I really like the depth FLORIDA has underneath. Quality Minutes from Richard today was important. And they have more options than UCLA from a scoring standpoint IMO. Aflalo had them on his back yesterday in San Jose.Only two players scored in double figs for UCLA. The Gator Nation should be rowdy in ATL as well...

Totals look low to me ...After seeing the Buckeyes score 92 and GTOWN 96 in an ot game

Still like UCLA to beat Ohio St in the final on Monday. More analysis coming throughout the week but I have rode these teams to this point and will continue to ride them.
      NCAAF: 50-39-5 (+6.35 units)
      NFL: 36-35-6 (-2.00 units)
      NHL: 4-8-0 (-2.80 units)
      NCAAB: 7-4 (+1.75 units)

        Kinda LIKE UCLA

Like their experience....allowing for referees not being fixed as is customary...

Think they can get Oden in foul trouble early, and mental toughness and experience get them through.

If I am wrong, I will blame the refs, of course. :beerbang:

The OSU/G-Town game must have just been added within the last 10-15 minutes on Sportsbook - they have the game as a Pick 'em to open.

Willi, not good that I see you leaning towards OSU as I was thinking the Hoyas myself - we shall see.

Horatio, I find it funny you keep bringing up the refs. I know you like Carolina but come on, you saw how your team got every call to go their way early, yet you continue to joke about it. It should be the other way around. Hoyas fans should be talking about it and joking about it now.

Face it, when the calls were even, G-Town dominated and pulled away winning by double digits. Exactly how it would have been if the free throws werent 32attempts-9 late in the game.

Just give it a rest, please.

Look friend, one tires of your bias. Your "analysis" of Duke games is legendary by now.

And on a serious note, as a person who was accepted into Duke, and who has many Duke friends, let me tell you:it is guys like you that give real Duke alums a bad name. I do not care how much gear you buy. By the way, where the hell did you go?

To elaborate, the friends I have who actually attended the school you claim to support, and who actually give money to it, are always sick of people like you:hangers on who claim to be Dukies. You give them a bad rap. So please, do the school a favor, and stop pretending. You might think you are "we" but they do not consider you so, nor will they ever, however much gear you buy. Sheesh.

Why do you people keep bringing up Duke. I havent mentioned them in a WEEK. Yet you people keep bringing them up for some reason. I just dont get it. Me and about 6 other people complained about the refs in the game thread today during the UNC/GEORGETOWN game.

It wasnt just me and why you people keep bringing up fact I like Duke is beyond me. I am not talking about them nor have I in the past week.

After all of my posts today you have some smart ass remark about the refs, then you decide to bring up Duke?

Can someone tell me what is going on here and let me know when I brought up Duke?

Look horatio... we get it... you're a stud... You were an all american in hoops.... you were accepted to duke, but you turned it down because, hey, you're too good for duke.... we don't know ****... you know it all... you win... congrats... i bow down in deference to you....

As far as using "we' is concerned, I slightly disagree.... FANS make sports... without fans spending their hard earned money, sports wouldn't exist.... not the way they exist today.... they wouldn't be televised.... pro atheletes would not make millions of dollars.... so go ahead and claim that only those that participcated are allowed to claim any small amount of ownership... its just plain ridiculous....

And if you hate the fact I stick up for my team, why do you keep bringing them up. I dont give a **** who your friends are so for them to say me personally gives Duke a bad name, is just an idiotic comment.

As much as you people hate Duke and myself, you sure love to throw fuel onto the fire.

                        Enough said.

Did not say I was too good for Duke...simply chose not to go. Real Duke alums are not quite as dense as wannabes. And if you think FANS make sports, you have no clue either. But that has been quite apparent.

You have a week to make up some whine about why your team does not win it all, which in fact it may. You do JT III a disservice complaining about refs "fixing" stuff, and wannabe Dukie GM does a disservice to a damn good school he could not attend but thinks he represents. He does not, nor do you represent anything good about Georgetown or Duke.Period.

Apologies WW...but a year of absurdities on "Duke and why we are wonderful" by a guy who never even went there...just absurd.
