i agree with what you are all saying, but if acie law makes that LAYUP, Memphis isnt playing today(most likely)...it will be one hell of a game....if the game comes down to free throws, memphis might be in trouble....should be a great day of basketball none the less

also....joey dorsey has given ohio st locker room board material to motivate the entire ohio st team, and most importantly, greg oden....With a handful of well-spoken if not well-chosen words, Memphis' Joey Dorsey blew up Oden on Friday, calling the 7-foot All-American "overrated" and saying if his meeting with Oden is a modern-day David vs. Goliath, that Dorsey is Goliath....

It remains to be seen however, if Oden is even capable of delivering that huge game.

I also agree that Memphis could have easily lost....but weather OSU could have, or should have already lost wasn't at all the basis of my argument.

The basis was that OSU has already played down to 2 teams who IMO they probably should have beaten relatively soundly, since neither one of them really even had a sniff of an answer for Oden.

Yet they didn't do so....and now as the matchups become tougher, I cannot help but wonder if they play another "down" half, or even 10 minutes, today....will they be able to survive once again?

"might be in trouble"??? If OSU finally shows up in this tourney they're going to run through Memphis.

Lets not forget Memphis got a gift from Acie Law last game...

I'm riding the buckeyes, its an interesting line, but so is UCLA/Kansas.

Yeah, the Oden foul was tantamount to getting his a$@ whooped, let alone getting a technical. Just watching it got me fired up.

Joey Dorsey is is not a good basketball player. He's an athletic freak who, at one end of the floor, can do nothing but offensive rebound and dunk. At the other end of the floor, he is ALWAYS in foul trouble (against inferior players than the likes of Oden or Hunter). He should keep his stupid shirt on and his mouth shut until he proves he can score the basketball without the end result being him hanging from the rim. Kavialaskus ate his lunch and took him to task last game out, and if you add Jones's stats the two combined to go 14-25 against "Goliath" and his mates. He should shut his yap and focus on not getting embarrassed today against a better player.

Until Dorsey can do something other than hang on the rim like a monkey, maybe discretion might be the better part over valor and he should keep his uneducated, ignorant mouth closed, eh?

I hope Oden posterizes this clown today.... I am now as big and OSU fan as Flyers after hearing those comments.

stiff/bb- at this point in the season, and you have 1/2 seeds playing one another the games are virtual toss ups. i just think OSU gets it done today. I am so tired of everyone piling on these teams for how they won. they won. plain and simple end of story BB. they came from down 20 to do so. it's funny how you can penalize a team for looking bad in the 1H, but you won't give them any credit for how they played in the 2H. and it's funny how you give TENN all the credit for the 1H...how about saying OSU played uninspired and lackluster in the 1H......so let me get this straight.....OSU didn't play any D, EVERYTHING TENN chucked up went in in the 1H, but that had nothing to do with TENN being lucky or OSU being uninspired, but when the reverse happens in the 2H, it's all cause TENN played poorly. OK. it just really is comical how everything good TENN did was all them and everything good OSU did was all cause TENN was bad. your comments really make you look like an OSU hater, which is fine, but come on man........give me a break. and having just reread that post, you really do look like it's personal.

bottom line, i like UCLA and OSU in what should be close games. probably best left alone, IMO, but decided to play them.

                      GL to everyone!
You know I aint no hater, but they were lucky...you also have to be good to be lucky.

Memphis has received more overrated comments than any other team in the tournament. Their conf sucks ass. Even you have to believe that they were probably not a #2 seed by accomplishments. And Tenn did suck. Watch the tape. They were completely out of control and did not play defense.

LOL, i could name plenty of NBA players who I could shoot better than....Shaq, Ben Wallace, etc, but in reality, they would squash my little white ass like a grape in a real game, LOL

Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree....but I don't think Dorsey hangs his hat on being a jumpshooter, lol....so the fact that he is not a good one is basically a moot one anyway.

Point taken, but if/when Dorsey gets to the NBA and guys are just a big and physical as he is, he will be awful. Ben Wallace is the exception to the rule. Dorsey gets into foul trouble every game against inferior talent, so imagine him against good players? He'd foul out in 10 minutes.

That said, he will probably go for 15 points and 18 boards tonight, block 4 shots and not commit one single foul... haha.

THE Ohio State University -130............just really think this team is on a "mission", "run", call it what you want. Not a homer play, as i would fade them in a NY minute if i thought they would lose today.
