don't take that class from 75% of the teams in Div-I. So many teams are horrendous at the foul line. You would think these big time programs would start looking for better foul shooters while recruiting. It is such a pivotal part of a team.
None of the good athletes shoot free throws and they never will. You can't be on the And One MixTape Tour shooting free throws.
:beerbang:
 ...yeah seriously nobody is going to call you hotsauce cause you shoot 90% from the FT line.....
anyone who has ever gone to these AAU summer tournaments in places like Vegas and watched the Traveling Team Trash and how it's coached doesn't need help to figure out why people can't shoot FT's. The skill is leaving basketball and it is becoming a bunch of hood rats with headbands and tattoos trying to drive to the hole everytime. That is what makes watching a guy like Hansborough or a team like Butler or Drake so neat to watch. Not many of those guys or teams left. All CBB is anymore is a high ball screen and some clown trying to drive through 8 guys to the basket. You see very little motion offense anymore. Whole game has changed.
And thanks to ESPN, FT's don't get you on sportscenter.
no.......lol....because they play the game the way you should. UCLA plays that way, as well. Not a lot of teams do, though. I think a lot of coaches are recruiting athletes. You look at the 3 point %'s that a lot of these teams shoot and that tells a pretty good story along with the FT%.
