GL, JoePa! How you feeling about Kent State tonight? I think they might be a good play. I saw on another website that the public was hitting SLU at about 90% and the line hadn't moved. I watched the entire game between Kent and XU up in Chicago last Friday and came away VERY impressed with Kent. They are athletic and play extremely agressive basketball. SLU will have their hands full tonight.

Also, any thoughts on the Redhawks -6 at Millet against the Cryers? Again, public hitting the Cryers and line has dropped a little. I would lean to Miami as I can't remember the last time Dayton went on the road and won against a solid team...and Miami is definitely a solid team.

At this point are Miami and Kent the favorites to win the MAC?

            Thanks UDoggie...I hope so!

Nigel.....I'm trying to follow that hard fast rule of never betting for or against my favorite team. I think Flashes will certainly win and they are athletic. They have so many weapons on the bench that don't get playing time and I have seen the whining already early in the season. Me looked at Miami too....I didn't post them but really really like them in Millett Hall against the Cryers. Pollitz is a beast and there is no match for them. The Redhawks haven't backed down from anybody showing they could play on the road vs. USC and a winner at Missy State.

Love X beating down the Hoosiers.....:beerbang:

The Flashes limping out of gate with a 42-15 halftime lead!! LOL!

Will be interesting to see if SLU can make it a closer game...that is one half of ass whuppin' right there.

May want to get away from your theory on not betting on your team if KSU is gonna bring the wood like that when it plays!

Kent did open up a major can of ass whoopin on ol San Luis last night. They shot 58% from the floor, scored 24 pts. off of turnovers, 73% from the FT line, and their defense was smothering......Rick Majerus has lost a lot of weight but not his fire and immediately attacked the officials before the second half began and was issued a technical foul......Four players in double figures too....it was a fun one to watch for a while. Always nice when your team wins but they have a rough game at UNC Greensboro this Saturday then a spate of toughies vs. George Mason, North Carolina, Cleveland State, tAm Corpus Christi, then BGSU, Miami, Ohio, Akron and Western Michigan to open the MAC!
