    NIT Discussion Thread

Figure we give the NIT a little respect because there are some nice lines and teams out there..

    Here's the bracket:

Each play is to win the # of units posted unless it's a dog then I'm betting that amount.

WSox.....different format this year makes this a much better tournament, i.e. not watered down with extra "feel good" teams! I really think Missy State can make it to the final 8, not going to call them elite-8 since that's reserved for the NCAA tourney. Also think FSU has a legit shot to win it along with Bama, NCState, and Cuse!:beerbang:

NIT always seems to be tricky... you really have to be careful and isolate the teams that are really excited to be there... It seems to me that the team that wins the NIT usually had no chance to be in the NCAA tourny (I think, I could be wrong though). Like South Carolina a couple years ago..etc

Agree with above, this field is full of very good teams who are one win, one player or one coach away from being a solid 65 team. As Skins says, very tricky to bet with the early home game set up, but 'tricky' means opportunity for some skewed lines. I will be paying attention and enjoying these NIT games.

here's how my bracket goes.. filled it out pretty quickly.

            First Rd Winners:
Mississippi St, Providence, Michigan, FSU, West Virginia, Alabama, Drexel, OK State, Air Force, Georgia, DePaul, Kansas State, Clemson, Appalachian St, Missouri State, Syracuse.

            Second Round Winners
Mississippi St, FSU, West Virginia, Oklahoma St, Air Force, Kansas State, Clemson, Missouri State

            Third Round Winners:
Florida State, Oklahoma State, Air Force, Clemson

            Final Game Matchup:
            Oklahoma State, Clemson

            Winner: Oklahoma State

probably not accurate because I have no clue which teams decide to actually play.
