While the Stampeders don't have a high YPR, they still need some success in the running game for their offense to succeed. That was an issue last game rushing for only 29 yards on 12 carries. The offensive line injuries are to blame as Calgary lost one starter in the practice before the Lions game and another during the game. Both will remain out against Hamilton and while the replacements have had an extra week to practice they are very inexperienced.
My first instinct was to play on the Ti-Cats, but after crunching the numbers Calgary's defensive stats reflect a top 3 defense rather than a team near the bottom in PPG.
