    CFL Picks Week 9

Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Winnipeg Blue Bombers
    Point Spread Odds: Winnipeg-3.5
    Total Line: 49

These two teams met in a low scoring affair back in Week 1 with the Blue Bombers getting the 24-16 road win. Winnipeg has been playing outstanding defense all season leading the CFL in many key defensive categories and has held the opposition to 21 or fewer points in 6 of their 7 games this season.

So, many bettors may think that a play on the under is the way to go in the rematch. That's not the way I see it.

Here's are some stats to ponder.

Winnipeg has scored 26 points per game this season and is on an upward trend with 28 PPG in their last 4.

Winnipeg gets an instant upgrade to their receiving corps with Greg Carr likely to start this week against in my opinion the worst secondary in the CFL

Hamilton has allowed 30.3 PPG on the road this season.

Hamilton's last 4 games have gone over the total with an average combined score of 62.7 PPG with the lowest combined score being 52.

Hamilton has scored 33 points or more in 4 of their last 5 games.
