    Ward vs Miranda

    Ward - 280
    Miranda +220

I dont know too much about Ward, other than he is an olympian and has fought a bunch of butters. Now he, his promoters, etc. dont feel like he should be fighting nobodies anymore so they are throwing him in with Miranda. Let's do it in his hometown to add a little insurance.

Miranda has been in with the best, he's just never really beat the best. Now he is up at 168where he feels a lot more comfortable and has more power (is what he says).

I dont really care for either fighter, and 280 is too much to lay on an untested Ward against a pucher like Miranda.

What I do like is the O/U 9.5
I think this one is going the distance. Miranda can't KO anyone who doesn't trade with him. The guy doenst necessarily have the best accuracy in the game. I dont see Ward KO'ing Miranada without the help of the ref.

So, I think this one is going the distance. If anything does happen it will be right around the 9.5 mark. 8.5 at the very earliest. All of Miranda's KO's have come early. So if Ward can weather the early storm, we are looking at a decision. Ward to KO Miranda? Ya, I wouldn't count on it.

    I'm on the Over 9.5
It opened at -115 either way, now it's at O Even & U -130. I expect it to close at the O bieng on the + side. If not, oh well, I'll play it at whatever its at.

Whatever units to win 2. Placing after the weigh ins...

I couldn't disagree more. I can definitely see Ward stopping Miranda in rounds 6-8. Will be on Ward big tonight.

      GL with your play.

Haha, you always disagree with me though.
        I was expecting it.

The last thing Ward and his trainers want to do with go toe to toe with Miranda. The only reason the under is the fave is because of Pantera and his power, not because of Ward and his boxing skills.

We just happen to be on the opposite side a lot of the times. Not badgering you.

Everything i'v seen of Ward, i'v been highly impressed. Despite the piss poor talent he has fought, Miranda is way overhyped. Actually ANY hype revolving around Miranda is BS. He's lost all 3 of his big fights, all 3 very convincingly.

Take it for what it's worth, but Ward as stated:

"Everybody, Miranda included, may be surprised how much I am going to be front of him. I think everybody thinks I am going to box and move. But I am not going to fight passively."
This is his slingshot IMO. A win here will probably make him the mandatory challenger for Froch, and/or Balzsay. Ward is a smart kid, with a lot of talent. I think he's going to have a fairly easy time with Miranda, and flash some bigtime hidden power.

Regardless, can't wait for the fight. I don't care how Ward wins, but i'm extremely confident in just that.

Ya I know...wasn't taking it personal by any means.

That may be Wards game plan (to be right in front of him), or he could be just saying that. I think either one of them are going to back off when someone lands flush. In all respect for Ward, he should be the one to back off first...unless for whatever reason he can take Miranda's punches.

I know the Over is the slight dog, but I like it.

I believe Ward will win as well. His promoters wouldnt put his unblemished record on the line if they didnt think so. It's going to be an exciting one. Hopefully for my sake, not too exciting...haha.

              is this on tv ?

              ?

              Showtime

i can't see miranda winning this fight ..

but i can't lay 350 on the young inexperienced Ward

that handspeed will be too much for miranda ... he has been roughed up lately and just isn't that skilled

                    Nice hit man!

I had to lay a whole ****, but it was worth it. Miranda hardly had a punchers chance. I can't believe Ward wasn't at least -800 here.

Overall, it was a pretty decent fight. :)
