De la hoya loss a legacy killer ?

Do you guys think so ..

I mean look at his record and look at his wins

sure he did beat chavez and sweat pea and macho camacho

BUT ALL THOSE GUYS he faced at the ends of their careers

when you look at his last 6-8 fights and think about the guys he lost to : Mosely,Trinidad

and the close calls he had with guys like : Quartey and Sturm

do you feel he will go down as ONE OF THE BEST

    i don't think so

His big wins are over guys that were aging or guys like Fernando Vargas, and Ricardo Mayorga

Oscar De La Hoya killed his legacy by not being able to step up in the big fights :

He had nothing for Floyd, nothing for Bernard and pacman destroyed him

Oscar goes down in my books as just a Good Fighter , He will be a Hall of Famer, but i'm not so sure he deserves it as his record and the guys he has beaten do not impress me one bit

I've always looked at it like that too, but when you throw in an olympic gold medal...you have to give it to the guy.
