    Oscar / Pretty Boy Preview

Ok didn't see any threads on this upcoming MEGA FIGHT ...

    1. I must ask, "why would Oscar take this fight" ? HE CERTAINLY DOESN'T NEED THE MONEY .. He must feel he has a pretty good shot at beating Mayweather.

    2. Does Oscar know what he is in for ? He has never seen this type of speed IMO.

    3. Mayweather. Will he try to stand TOE to TOE ? If he does , there is a good chance that he could get caught.

ANY EARLY THOUGHTS. This big fight is right around the corner ..

I hate both of them, but I do see Oscar KOing him by the 9th. I would not say Oscar has not seen this kind of speed, I would say PBF has not seen a boxer even 1/2 of what Oscar is. PBF like to jab and run, IMO that will not work Oscar is to fast and talented. IMO PBF has a glass jaw and it will show in this fight, because Oscar can out box him and make him pay.

Birds, Where do you think the money will go within in next month. You think the value with Oscar is now and it may drop or do you think more people will jump on PRETTY BOY .?

I would say it will stay about the same. IMO both will get about the same amount of play. I am going to wait till the day of the fight, but if I see it dropping I will jump on it then.

              A friend called me

He's looking to place a large amount on De La Hoya to win by knockout (+721) I honestly feel there is NO CHANCE in HELL that Oscar can knock out Floyd Jr.

              Any thoughts..

Only 2 weeks away for this one and right now at -190 i feel that Mayweather is a great bet ... Say what you want about Floyd and the way he acts and how cocky he is, but when he steps inside those ropes, HE IS POUND for POUND the best boxer in the world IMO.

The only question mark is the weight change for Mayweather. Beyond that, I see this as nothing more than hype and hoopla for Oscar.

I have so many reasons why I think Mayweather will win this fight. I'm planning on doing a write-up on it. I took a bunch of notes but lost them :bang: I love that HBO show also. It shows how Mayweather is extremely laid-back and for some reason I think he's overly cocky for a reason. He's UNDEFEATED. It kind of reminds of the 2005 Orange Bowl when Pete Carroll took a laid back approach to the game compared with Bob Stoops who seemed to take the game too seriously especially compared to Carroll. I'm probably going to bet at least 8 units on the Floyd ML. From what I show the odds have actually moved in Oscar's favor on Sportsbook.com (from +200 to +185) so I'm waiting it out for even better odds on there. 5Dimes has Floyd at -210 but 5Dimes may have the best bet option IMO Mayweather Jr wins by 12 rnd decision +108 as I don't really see Floyd knocking him out if he doesn't have to and if Floyd is at the point towards the end of the fight where he's so behind that he has to knock Oscar out to win then Floyd aint gonna be able to do it. I realize Floyd isn't invincible but I really don't see his career ending like Roy Jones, Jr.'s. I think he stays undefeated.

Verified draw might not be a bad call because they would HAVE to have a big-money rematch for both of them and if this fight doesn't live up to its hype (which I doubt it does) they can do a rematch and both fighters will promise a bloodbath to end all bloodbaths (or at least a more entertaining rematch)!!!!

Mayweather can't knock de la hoya out, if he wins it will go the distance.

De La Hoya's best shot is to knock Mayweather out.

I like De La Hoya in this one, have for a long time.
