I think Silva has too much at stake to 'rush in' and get stuck with a sloppy Chucky punch.

I wish my book offered Silva at -125. I'd be all over that. I'm in at -140 for $200. Fade me if you know what's good for you..haha

I saw Silva's workout. I couldn't believe part of his workout entails wearing a snorkel and taping his nose shut! That is absolutely crazy - and I KNOW Chuck doesn't have any distance in him - he never has. He's the guy you'd see at the end of the bar drinking a Budweiser.

If they go past round 1, Chuck is as good as cooked. The only way I see Chuck winning is if he gets that sloppy punch in round 1.

Good luck to whatever side you're on tomorrow.

Should be at least two great fights tomorrow. Hope the undercard is as entertaining.

      Nevada Jay-
Wandys training with that snorkel was unreal! Amazing what that dude does to prepare. Then he jumped into that barrel of ice water.........Damn. If he doesnt win, it wont be because hes not in shape, thats for sure. I hope your right about him not falling victim to mohawk boys toughman haymakers! All I know for sure is that I CANT wait for tomorrow night. Good luck, Ill be pulling for you and Wandy:beerbang: Its going to be one hell of a fight and I just hope it lives up to the many years of hype that we have been subjected to waiting for it to finally happen.

I'm no Chuck lover at all...but I'm pretty amazed by the amount of people who have fallen off his wagon. He isn't washed up and isn't a no cardio chump. He's definitely in shape and ready for this fight, to think anything different is pretty dumb, chuck has wanted wanderlei for A WHILE. I'll probably put Chuck in one of my parlays just because I think the odds should be a pck em (and so I won't be totally pissed if that bastard wins lol).

I Hope you hit it Nevada... Wand is one my favorite fighters. I hope his new trainers served him as well as Chute Boxe, I wish he was coming to the cage wtih that crew.

        Add Irvin +160 1.1 unit

I'll post my parlays tomorrow in a seperate thread, gonna wait till the lines adjust a tad.

Hughes is at +160 on sportsbook. I guess that means the public is pounding him. I'm thinking about laying a little on a Hughes/Liddell parlay.

Wow. First to admit I didn't think Chuck had that stamina in him. I told you guys to fade me1 haha

GSP Hughes should be a good one as well!

GSP dominates slightly more than I expected.... but still... GSP is on another level, I say hes one of the best p4p mma fighters easily. His athleticism is freakish, and he is the definition of well rounded.

Have to agree with you buddy. That fight hurt my feelings. My heart was with Hughes, but my head told me how that fight was going to go. I have a lot of respect for Hughes as a fighter and what he has accomplished, but he was out matched. GSP is a freak when it comes to pure athleticism. He is so fast, deceivingly strong. Hughes is strong as an ox and George man handled him. Bottom line, like Yukon said, he is on another level. As Joe Rogan said, he is the future of the sport. Young, fast, strong, and as well rounded as they come. I hate to say it, but the sport has evolved past Matt's style. I dont know where he would go from here. Hate to see him go out like that, if he does hang them up. When GSP show up, in that kind of shape, with that kind of focus, nobody is going to beat him. Matt Serra better be saying his prayers. George is going to crush him.

I had that strange feeling that mohawk boy was going to do what he did. Good fight overall, those guys really banged. Wandys chin was unreal tonight. Chuck hit him with some monster shots and he hung in there. We have seen many other fighters fold under shots that werent nearly that hard. I dont think there is any shame in that loss for Wandy. Now we get to watch the UFC march old mohawk back to a title shot, whatever....LOL!

Biggest travesty of the night has to be two judges giving that to Chuck 30-27!! I dont know how you couldnt give the 2nd to Wanderli??? makes me think he was behind the 8 ball from the get go. Looks like the only way he was getting the win was by KO?? I hope that wasnt the case!

Good card, exciting night. Hope you guys made some money, cause I sure as hell didnt:laughing:

After watching Hughes vs. GSP fo the 2nd time, I just cant help but feel bad for Matt. He is in a no win situation, very similar to Rich Franklin. Where does he go from here? Rack up a few wins, get back into title contention, for what? Just to get another shot at a champ that he cant beat? After watching again, those guys can fight 100 times and i think GSP wins 90 of them. So what do you do when you're in a divison with a champ that completely owns you? Damn, it sucks for those guys. I wish Hughes the best but maybe he should just head to the farm and live out his life as a happy healthy and wealthy guy. Its been a great run for the country boy. No shame in hanging them up IMO.
