Both teams lug losing streaks into this game and both need one more win to become bowl-eligible, with time running out.

The Badgers own a 10-game winning streak on the Cornhuskers but most recent meetings played close, including last year’s, which went to overtime.

Wisconsin, as a two-touchdown home dog, actually led the Ducks 13-6 through three quarters. But the Badgers couldn’t hold on, allowing the last 10 points of the game, coming up with no response offensively.

Realistically, the Badgers didn’t play all that well last Saturday; it looked like the Ducks played down to them.
 
Two games ago, Wisconsin gave up 329 yards on the ground and lost to Iowa 42-10. Three games ago, the Badgers allowed 419 total yards and lost to Penn State 28-13.
