Someone asked Baylor HC Art Briles why his team didnt make it into the Final Four CFB Playoff series. His response: Sam Ukuwachu was cleared to transfer by Boise State and Chris Peterson neverIm sorry, what was the question? after clarifying, Briles suggested It isnt up to the players and coaches, probably going to have to do something about that dang non-conference scheduling!? (sarcasm) Well snap my fingers and I dream of Jeanie governor! The mighty Lamar Cardinals invade Wacko in a prophetic Davids sister named Amber versus Goliath matchup which is certainly going to make the Branch Davidians versuslets move on. Lamar must be double backboned waltzing into Baptist country or Lamars dumber than a Texan thinking a seven course meal is a six pack and a possum! After this massacre, someone needs to remind Lamars AD to never sign nothing by neon light after a couple of pitchers of Lone Star! Its the Baylor Bears vs the Lamar squished head Cardinals (look at their mascot impression; please!?!). Lamar is fixin to paint the town and the front porch after this matchup! I think Lamars a little overdrawn in the memory bank. Lets look in on this arrows vs tanks game.
Baylor was a mosquito whisker from playing in the 2014 CFB Championship Final Four. Meanwhile, Lamar edged Incarnate Word 31-20 in a play-in game for the Texas High School Big School Playoffs! Of course Im kidding—Baylor was a little further away than a whisker. Baylor failed to cover last week beating once beaten, twice beaten, never shy SMU 56-21 (Baylor was -36) while Lamar played grab ass in the locker room while learning how to assemble a triage using things found commonly near a football stadium located off I-35 South and the Brazos River in downtown Waco. Lamar expects to be driving a gravy train on biscuit wheels filled with gate receipts outta Waco Saturday Night. But Lamars team will be eating sorrow by the spoonful and the eventual outcome will be harder to swallow than a nickel steak! Lamar is outmatched and outmanned at every single position. Can Lamar win? No. Can Lamar make this interesting? No. Can LamarNo! No! NO! Lamars chances of staying anywhere near Baylor is like putting socks on a rooster! Lets look inside the numbers and see whats what!
Lamar opened up the 2015 schedule by sandpapering mighty Bacone College; an NAIA team in Muskogee Oklahoma >>> Yes, the Merle Haggard We dont smoke marijuana in Muskogee. We dont take our trips on LSD Muskogee, Oklahoma. But Lamar looks to be identical to Baylor in this regard: How the crap are you going to get ready for Sam Houston State and the rest by playing Bacone College??? Just like, How are you going to get ready for TCU, Oklahoma, and a bid for the CFB Playoffs by playing Lamar? I dont want to hear one stinkin word out of Waco if Baylor goes undefeated or loses a game and wonders why they werent voted in the CFB Playoffs this year playing Lamar! Anyway, Lamar outgained Bacone 525 yards to 82, had the edge in first downs 28-0, and also led Bacone in penalties 10 for 80 yards (Bacone had no penalties). But it does not matter. When you roll over a patsy its just grotesque! Baylor on the other hand rolled up 723 yards of offense against SMUs 369 total yards. The game was close at halftime with Baylor leading 28-21 going into the break. But Baylor answered the second half bell racking up 28 unanswered points and SMU went back to being SMU and Baylor kinda walked away lethargic and distant. But it doesnt matter. Lamar is horrible at Baylors level! The last time Lamar had a big win over a Division 1 opponent was beating a terrible Baylor team 18-17 in 1981. Shortly thereafter, Lamar dropped football altogether and didnt bring the program back until 2010. Since 2010, Lamars football team is 21-26 playing teams like Bacone College and Incarnate Word! What in the world is Baylor doing scheduling this team???
Baylor wins BIG!
Tim B.s Pick to Cover the Point Spread: Baylor -58.5
