College Football 2007 Big Games Week by Week

The college football season is fast approaching! Given unlimited time and money these are surely the games we’d want to see as they are sure to shape the national championship picture.
Week 1
The first games of the season kick off on Thursday, August 30 with a full slate of games on Saturday, September 1. The top game of the week will be on Saturday night as Tennessee travels to California. The winner of this game will probably be in the Top 10 while the loser may find themselves eliminated from the title picture.
Week 2
The highlight game of week 2 will be Oregon at Michigan as the Wolverines will try to maintain their lofty preseason rating.
Week 3
This may be the most pivotal week of the season with the following games:
Tennessee at Florida
Notre Dame at Michigan
Ohio State at Washington
USC at Nebraska
We will choose the USC at Nebraska game as the most significant as the preseason favorite Trojans go to Nebraska who is trying to prove that they have regained national prominence.
Week 4
The Big 10 race will be greatly affected this week as Penn State travels to Michigan. The Wolverines have a tough schedule and may already have a loss or 2 by this time; however, if they are undefeated and can win here they will assert themselves as one of the National Title favorites.
Week 5
We will travel out west to the USC/Washington game. It is never easy to beat the Huskies at their home place and we may see one of the favorites go down this week.
Week 6
It is a tough call for this week with 2 great games. In the SEC, Florida will take on LSU in what could be a preview of the SEC Championship game. Since we may see that game later, we will travel to Dallas for the Red River Shootout matching Oklahoma against Texas.
Week 7
It is back to Big 10 territory this week for the Penn State at Wisconsin game. This game could feature 2 undefeated teams in things go right for them early in the season.
Week 8
A great traditional game here as we travel to South Bend to see USC vs. Notre Dame. The Irish will try to end the Trojans hope of a National Title.
Week 9
Our first look at the Big East takes us to Rutgers as West Virginia will try to prove that they belong in elite status.
Week 10
Another trip to the Big 10 as the always underrated Badgers of Wisconsin travel to Ohio State. This will be our first chance to see if the Buckeyes are worthy of a shot at a National title.
Week 11
Our travel schedule will be a bit off this week as we visit a Thursday night contest between 2 Big East favorites. Louisville will battle West Virginia for Big East supremacy.
Week 12
The traditional Big 10 match up will be our destination here as Ohio State goes to Michigan to face the Wolverines. This could be a match up where the winner advances to the championship game.
Week 13
We will head south for Arkansas vs. LSU to see the Tigers advance to the SEC Championship.
Week 14
We will be watching the SEC Championship were the prediction is a rematch between Florida and LSU with the winner having a claim to being in the National title game.
