The Waste Management Open at TPC Scottsdale is one of the more exciting PGA Tournaments of the golf season as evidenced by three of the last four events going into extra holes and 12 of the last 13 being decided by two strokes or fewer. PGA golf is back! The first full-field tournament takes place in Hawaii this weekend as Waialae Country Club plays host to the 2020 Sony Open! Justin Thomas, who won last week’s TOC in Maui last week, set a course record here in 2017 so will surely be one to watch. That’s not who Ted is picking to win though! Thomas is surely in play though as 15 of the last 21 Sony Open Champions were winners of the TOC. Wildcard Weekend brings us a Saturday night matchup between the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots that should be one of the better played games of the 2019/2020 NFL season. Neither team is turnover prone which should keep it close throughout. The Pats looked like garbage last week vs. the Dolphins and Mike Vrabel comes back to Foxboro which is an interesting variable in itself.
