Questionable coaching by Anthony Lynn may have cost the Bolts from being undefeated. This team is proving to be no joke! They get the luxury of playing at Sofi Stadium again in Week 3 and welcome in the Carolina Panthers who will be without star RB Christian McCaffrey and be traveling coast to coast as +6.5 underdogs.
The Houston Texans may offer the best underdog value of the week. Their 0-2 record shouldn’t be held against them as they opened with the KC Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. The NYJ appear to be really bad again. One would imagine they’ll get better as the season goes along but they’re flunking with regards to the stat sheet and the eye test. With the Minnesota Vikings looking putrid in Week 2 against the Colts, oddsmakers have come out with a very slippery line of +2.5 vs. the Titans. Beware! This is one of the nastier sucker bets you’ll see this season. The Vikings are a completely different team at home and the Titans aren’t playing that great themselves.

Week 3 Thursday Night Football presents us with an oddball matchup when the Miami Dolphins head to TIAA Bank Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. With both teams viewed as league doormats, it’s a bit odd that the NFL chose to feature this game. The bad news is the game may be somewhat uninteresting to most. The good news is we have an opinion on the spread!

Week 2 Thursday Night Football is upon us and we’re blessed (who scheduled this one?) with the battle of Ohio when the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns. The Tennessee Titans head back to Nissan Stadium for their home season opener against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that surprised the world by knocking out the Indianapolis Colts last week. With a team only being as good as their last couple games, the Jaguars getting zero respect, this being an in-conference game and a two score spread (+9), we may be in for another barn-burner! The Broncos suffered a tough loss last week after some poor play calling and clock management in the fourth quarter. It could be argued that the Titans should of win by more because of Gostkowski’s kicking miscues, but Denver had their fair share of getting stuffed on the goal line, a penalty that prevented a huge INT and some other enigmas.
