For the second week in a row, the Denver Broncos played catchup in the fourth quarter, which is no real indicator that they’re any good. It’s more likely a case of lazy defense by the team with the big lead. On the flip side, the Las Vegas Raiders played a strong game on the road last weekend against the Chargers and snuck off with a last second win.
The Chargers had a rough beat last week with their third string tight end bobbling a catch in the endzone on the last play of the game. The Boise State Broncos got absolutely leveled by a much better BYU team last week. The Colorado State Rams played a lot better than expected vs. a Wyoming team they were expected to lose to.
