I’ve been on the wrong end of a bunch of Washington Football team bets this season, as they aren’t really as bad as they’ve appeared. The defense can put pressure on quarterbacks, and we all saw what happened last week when the Cardinals brought pressure on a Cowboys depleted offensive line and Andy Dalton. Minnesota appears to be turning the corner after a respectable pair of road games where they waxed the Texans and were “in it” vs. the Seahawks until Dalvin Cook went down. The game turned instantly after Cook’s groin injury. The Vikes made a valiant comeback in the end but ended up losing on one of the last plays of the game. Alexander Mattison (a Cook clone) will start and there won’t be much of a drop-off. Atlanta has changed coaches but that doesn’t fix their defense which resembles a wet paper bag.
