Dan Jamison
Colorado Rockies vs. St. Louis Cardinals Pick 8/24/19
The Cards took the first two of this weekend series and look to be the easy choice in tonight’s game. They are more motivated than the Rockies whose chances at a Wild Card spot are dwindling each day and they have a huge edge in starting pitching. Will MLB handicapper Dan take the same position with his play?
New York Yankees at Los Angeles Dodgers Pick 8/23/19
The Yankees power drop up considerably when facing left-handed pitching and they’re facing one of the best tonight in Los Angeles with Hyun-Jin Ryu toeing the rubber. The Dodgers swept the Jays but didn’t look particular good doing so, but the Yankees are on a four-game tailspin. Our MLB handicapper believes the home side is the best bet – read why
Cleveland Indians at New York Mets Pick 8/22/19
Both teams are in their league’s Wild Card picture, so motivation won’t be a factor, but the Mets are just playing better. NYM has won four consecutive games and are an incredible 13-1 in their last 14 as a host. Rookie starter Aaron Civale has looked good for the Indians, but with closer Brad hand struggling you’d have to side with the home side. The question comes down to value. Are the Mets’ edges worth laying the -140? Let’s see what our MLB prognosticator has to say.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Boston Red Sox Pick 8/21/19
The Phillies took the opener backed by a nice pitching performance from Aaron Nola. Now they will hope that lefty Drew Smyly can regain the form that saw him record back to back quality starts in his first two in a Philadelphia uniform. Rick Porcello was good enough in his latest but has been alternating good and bad outings. Let’s see where MLB capper Jamison thinks your money should land.
New York Yankees vs. Oakland Athletics Pick 8/20/19
Tonight’s game will be the first meeting between these two clubs this season. Last season the home were the victors in five of the seven matches and likewise for the favorite. The Yankees are the favorite in this game with Domingo German and his blistering 16-2 record this season on the mound. Homer Bailey goes for the Athletics and he has an early season QS against NYY when he was in a KC uniform. Get Dan’s take on where the betting value lies tonight.
Arizona Wildcats vs. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Pick 8/24/19
These two squads met back in 2016 with Arizona winning 47-28 but failing to cover the spread as a 23.5 home favorite. This time around they’ll be playing in Hawaii a tough place to win and as an 11-point favorite the dog may offer some value. Dan Jamison digs into the match-ups and gives out his betting prediction.
Florida Gators vs. Miami Hurricanes Pick 8/24/19
The Florida Gators and the Miami Hurricanes kickoff the 2019 college football season with a neutral site game at Camping World Stadium. The CFB betting board has the Gators as a touchdown favorite over the ‘Canes with the total line of 47.5. Check out Dan’s betting insight and get his point spread pick.
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Washington Nationals Pick 8/16/19
The Brewers and nationals open a three-game series in Washington tonight. The Brewers took the first three meetings back in May and will now try to extend that streak on the road. The Nats come into this game on a roll winning seven of their last nine, but the Brewers line-up has had a lot of success against Corbin in the past. Read on to get Dan’s suggested wager.
Cleveland Indians at New York Yankees Pick 8/15/19
The Yankees host the Indians in the first of a four-game set at Yankees Stadium. In the opener Cleveland goes with Adam Plutko who pitched well in his only start versus the NYY back in early June. The Yanks will go with Chad Green to open the game and hope that he continues his scoreless inning streak in that role. Handicapper Dan Jamison weighs it out and gives out his free pick to bet.
