NFL Football Picks
MNF Pick: Dallas Cowboys vs. LA Chargers
The Dallas Cowboys laid an egg last week in a huge NFC matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, who looked like absolute world-beaters. Oddsmakers think the public won’t care, as they’ve labeled the Pokes as short -2.5 road favorites against the Los Angeles Chargers, who are coming off a bye week. Who covers the spread? Sunday Night Football Pick: Buffalo Bills to Cover the Spread?
What more is there to say about the New York Giants? Is there a word worse than bad? The team is banged up on both sides of the ball and now QB Daniel Jones has a neck injury, leaving his status in question for the upcoming week. The high-flying Buffalo Bills got smoked in London by the Jags last week. Can they rebound and play like they did against the Dolphins? The -13.5 spread tells us the bookies like the G-Men to cover. Get our NYG/Buf pick here!
Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs Pick 1/19/20
Some analysts are concerned about the Titans ability to keep up with the Chiefs scoring, especially with their lack of a passing game in recent weeks. But that didn’t hold them back in their earlier meeting a 35-32 win at home. In the victory the stat line showed Tennessee amassing 146 passing yards and 225 rushing yards. Read on to get Loot’s AFC Championship prediction.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers Playoff Pick
Week 19 NFL provides us with a matchup that is sure to provide excitement and drama, as crazy things usually happen when the Seahawks and Packers meet. The 2012 “Fail Mary” and 2014 playoff overtime thriller are just two examples of the fireworks displayed when Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers go head to head. Ted’s predicting a close game where he sees the Cheeseheads moving on, but the Hawks covering. See his full take before placing your bet!
Expert Pick: Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs play host to the Houston Texans as -9.5 home favorites Sunday afternoon Arrowhead in a game that is likely to baffle most recreational bettors. Many will remember that Houston went into KC in Week 6 and beat the Chiefs, hindering their ability to handicap this one properly. QB Pat Mahomes was hurt and KC wasn’t playing very well at the time. They’ve since won four out of their last five games by double digits and Mahomes looks as good as ever. Unbelievably, 50% of the money is coming in on the Texans! Keith gives 3 reasons why his pick is the Chiefs to cover the spread.
Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens Pick ATS 1/11/20
The NFL’s version of David vs. Goliath takes place in the Divisional Playoffs Saturday night night at MT&T Bank Stadium as the Baltimore Ravens play host to the Tennessee Titans as hefty -9 favorites. Winners of 12 in a row, the Ravens pretty much blew out all but two opponents during that stretch, with the exceptions being the Bills and Niners, a pair of running teams. Can Derrick Henry keep the Cinderella dream alive?
Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers Pick 1/11/20
The Vikings shut down the Saints offense for the majority of the game. They are banged up in the secondary so a repeat this week in the Divisional Round may be a difficult task. That said they have proven all season that they can shut down TEs and may be able to limit SF’s best weapon George Kittle.
Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots Pick 1/4/20
Wildcard Weekend brings us a Saturday night matchup between the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots that should be one of the better played games of the 2019/2020 NFL season. Neither team is turnover prone which should keep it close throughout. The Pats looked like garbage last week vs. the Dolphins and Mike Vrabel comes back to Foxboro which is an interesting variable in itself. With a point spread of +5, this game is tricky from a betting perspective. Check out Ted’s take before making your bet!
Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles Pick 1/5/20
There’s a common misconception that the Seattle Seahawks suck on the road. Most aren’t seemingly aware that the Hawks went 7-1 away from home this season. The Eagles come into this NFC Wildcard game winners of four games in a row, but that’s not as impressive as it sounds when you see that they beat the Skins, Cowboys and Giants twice. The public is heavy on the Seahawks and they might be right!
Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans Pick 1/4/20
The Buffalo Bills take on the Houston Texans in an AFC Wild Card game at NRG Stadium Saturday where oddsmakers have made the Texans a slight -2.5 home favorite. Keith points out that the Bills got this far because of a weak schedule. See his other takes that support his Texans pick before placing your bets!
