D-Backs starter Madison Bumgarner has looked like hot garbage as of late, allowing 20 earned runs over his last 22 innings (7.94 ERA). Cubs pitcher Javier Assad gave up no runs in four innings in his first start, but don’t let that fool you! He gave up four hits and had four walks for a fat WHIP of 2.00! This guy has been in the minors since 2016 and hadn’t been promoted above AA ball until this year.
